La Parisienne

«I am in Paris. And you?
The Eiffel Tower, Eiffel, its sturdy long legs, its long slender neck… And what do you think of my legs, darling? Aren’t they extremely beautiful?
I’m tired of waiting for you, I’m leaving. I’m going to take a taxi, I’m going to look at the façades of Paris.
Lights distract my eyes, it is the City of light. All this city for me without you. I see the vertical forms of the buildings and raise my nose to better appreciate them through the window.
Or… my beloved museum made with tubes… I will have to go to see this exhibition tomorrow, looks good… Taxi… Stop!!! I have to walk… walk… I walk.
Look!… La Place des Vosges is so beautiful… the Ambroisie appears between the leaves of a tree. The menus and the people are very chic… but I’m not hungry. Then I go back to Montparnasse. By metro, it is faster.
Already… I roll, I pick myself up. No… I stretch, I stretch. And now I dance and I wait for you.» I.D.
